About Crossy Road
Crossy Road is an endless arcade hopper with a blocky retro look. You guide a chicken forward one hop at a time across an endless stretch of roads, rivers and railway tracks. Cars, trucks and trains never stop, logs drift down the rivers, and if you wait too long an eagle swoops down and ends the run.
Every row you cross adds a point to your score. Along the way you pick up coins that unlock new characters, so there is always a reason for one more try.
How to Play
Up arrow or W: hop forward
Left / Right arrows or A / D: hop sideways, Down arrow or S: hop back
On touch screens, tap to hop forward and swipe to change direction
On a phone, use the game’s on-screen controls if they appear. Landscape orientation gives the player more room.
Tips for Crossy Road
- Watch the gaps in traffic, not your character. Move when the lane is clear, not when it looks almost clear.
- On rivers, ride the logs sideways to line up with the next safe spot.
- Do not stand still for long. Waiting too long brings the eagle.
