1. Set up the game by placing the game board in the center of the playing area. Each player chooses a colored player piece and places it on the "Start" space.
2. Shuffle the deck of cards and place it face down on the designated space on the board.
3. The youngest player goes first and draws a card from the deck. The card will have a number on it, indicating how many spaces the player can move their piece on the board.
